BROWSER CONFIGURATIONS

The browsers that you can use:

• Internet Explorer 5.0 or above versions (Windows versions).
• Netscape Communicator 4.75 or above versions (Windows and MAC versions).
• To find out what browser you are using, please click here.

Definitions

• Use this link to set your browser 128-bit encryption rate (please note down the version of browser you are using before you click on this link).

Browser Settings

• The JavaScript version should be comptatible with your browser,
• Java and JavaScript should be turned on in your browser.

• The browser should be set to accept cookies.
• SSL 3.0 should be enabled in the browser.

The following provides information on how to set these settings in certain browsers and in some of their versions.

From the menu, the following options should be selected;

Other Settings

The website runs very slow?

For Internet Explorer;

• Tools ==> Internet Options, General ==> Temporary Internet Files ==> Settings ==> Check for newer version ==> (must be) Automatic.
• Tools ==> Internet Options, Advanced ==> Security ==> (Not selecting “Do not save encrypted pages to disk option” is recommended for the speed.

www.teb.com.tr website can be opened but Personel Internet Banking page is unreachable?

For Internet Explorer;

• Help ==> About Internet Explorer ==> check the rate of Cipher Strength; this rate must be 128-bit.
• If not, note down the version rate given in the upper row and click on the Browser Settings link in our Browser Configurations page.
• In the opened page, click on the paragraph that begins with. “….to set your Browser 128-bit encryption rate”. In the opened screen, download by clicking on High Encryption Pack link according to the browser version which you have noted down before.

The menu does not work?

In order to get the menu working, Macromedia Flash program should have been installed on your computer. To install this program free, please click here.

I cannot display my financial status report?

Financial status report is filed in .pdf format. To view this document, you should have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. To install this program free, please click here.

I cannot type the characters in my password except the letters and numbers?

The “Secure Login” program supports only the letters and numbers. If you have already installed “Secure Login” program on your computer and if your password also contains other characters apart from the letters and numbers; then you should first delete/remove the “Secure Login” program from your computer.

For this, in the Internet Explorer;

• Tools ==> Internet Options
• General ==> Temporary Internet Files ==> Settings ==> View Objects
• Select ActivexEdit Control file and remove the file by clicking on the Delete button. (You should close all open Browsers before you click on the delete button).
• Thereafter, you can login by using PinPad without installing the “Secure Login” program.
• If you wish to use the “Secure Login” program, you should change/set your password by using the letters and numbers only.

Although I made all specified installations, the menu still does not work?

In this case, you should check certain settings.

In the Internet Explorer;

• Tools ==> Internet Options
• Security ==> click on the Custom Level option. In the opened screen, check the following and if they are not compatible, adjust them accordingly:
  • Download signed ActiveX controls = must be PROMPT or ENABLE.
  • Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins = must be ENABLE.
  • Script ActiveX controls marked as safe for scripting = must be ENABLE.

Try again after this configuration. If you still have a problem, re-intsall the Macromedia Flash program and try again.
