Swift Standards version 2026 introduces a significant change to cross-border payment messages: Starting November 14, 2026, fully unstructured postal addresses will no longer be supported in CBPR+ messages. Similar requirements will be implemented by payment market infrastructures as part of the sectoral transition in November 2026. General information was given about the global project in our first newsletter.
