Pratik Account is an account designed to simplify your financial life. When money is deposited into your TL account or when your salary is credited to your TEB demand deposit account, your available balance is automatically used to purchase units of the TEB Portfolio Short-Term Debt Instruments Fund without requiring any action from you.
Whenever there is a cash outflow, the required amount is automatically covered by selling fund units.
If you have a Pratik Account, you do not need to give separate instructions to evaluate the balance in your account or monitor your automatic and recurring payments, check payments, EFT/money transfers, credit card payments, or personal loan repayments. Your Pratik Account manages these processes automatically on your behalf.
Information About the Pratik Account Balance in Demand Deposit Accounts
As of 11 February 2021, the minimum demand balance that will not be invested in the fund in Pratik Accounts has been updated to 5,000 TL.
For customers whose demand balance minimum is below 5,000 TL, their balance will automatically be adjusted to 5,000 TL as of 11 February 2021 by redeeming fund units if necessary.
Information About Automatic Fund Purchases in Pratik Account
As of 18 October 2021, an automatic purchase of TEB Portfolio Short-Term Debt Instruments Fund will first be made from your Pratik Account balance up to an amount corresponding to 250 TL. Since the fund price may vary, small upward or downward differences in this amount may occur.
After purchasing fund units corresponding to 250 TL, additional purchases of the same fund will continue automatically with the balance exceeding your demand balance minimum (minimum 5,000 TL) specified in your Pratik Account agreement.
Examples
Example 1:
If a customer has 10,000 TL in their Pratik Account and the demand balance minimum specified in the agreement is 5,000 TL, first fund units corresponding to 250 TL will be purchased. After reserving 5,000 TL in the demand account, fund units corresponding to the remaining 4,750 TL will also be purchased
Example 2:
If a customer has 4,000 TL in their Pratik Account and does not currently hold any fund units, fund units corresponding to 250 TL will be purchased, while the remaining 3,750 TL will remain in the demand account.
Example 3:
If a customer has 100 TL in their Pratik Account and does not hold any fund units, fund units corresponding to 100 TL will be purchased, leaving no balance in the demand account.
If you need to access the funds invested in the investment fund, your Pratik Account will automatically redeem fund units when necessary. This applies to cash withdrawals from branches or ATMs, automatic and recurring payments, credit card and personal loan payments, check payments, EFT/money transfers, and purchases made with your TEB debit card.
