    Information Regarding the Change in the Minimum Balance Requirement in the Demand Deposit Account Linked to TL Fırsat Account

    As of 20.09.2024, the minimum balance amounts required to be kept in the linked Demand Deposit Account in order to receive Additional Interest on the TL Fırsat Account will be updated.

    The minimum required balances in the Demand Deposit Account according to the Fırsat Account balance ranges are as follows:

    • 1,000,000 – 1,999,999 TL: minimum 150,000 TL
    • 2,000,000 – 2,999,999 TL: minimum 200,000 TL
    • 3,000,001 – 4,000,000 TL: minimum 250,000 TL
    • 4,000,001 – 5,000,000 TL: minimum 250,000 TL

    Information Regarding the Change in the Minimum Balance Requirement in the Demand Account Linked to TL Fırsat Account

    As of 15.04.2024, the minimum balance amounts required to be kept in the linked Demand Deposit Account in order to receive Additional Interest on the TL Fırsat Account were updated. 

    The minimum required balances in the Demand Deposit Account according to the Fırsat Account balance ranges were as follows:

    • 1,000,000 – 1,999,999 TL: minimum 75,000 TL
    • 2,000,000 – 2,999,999 TL: minimum 100,000 TL
    • The minimum opening amount for the Fırsat Account is 1,000,000 TL / 50,000 USD / 40,000 EUR / 30,000 GBP / 1,000 grams of gold, and interest is paid up to a maximum of 5,000,000 TL / 1,000,000 USD / 1,000,000 EUR / 1,000,000 GBP / 22,000 grams of gold.
    • Only individual customers can benefit from this account. For each currency (TL, EUR, USD, GBP, and Gold), only one account per customer can be opened; multiple accounts are not allowed.
    • If the customer who wishes to open a Fırsat Account does not have a Demand Deposit Account, one will be opened by the Bank on behalf of the customer.
    • Standing payment instructions cannot be given from the Fırsat Account.
    • Foreign currency buying and selling transactions can be carried out through TEB branches from this account.
    • EFT and money transfer transactions made from the Fırsat Account are free of charge.
    • Deposits made before 17:00 on full working days are considered with same-day value date, while deposits made after 17:00 are considered with the next business day value date. On half working days, the value date cut-off time is 11:00. Withdrawals/balance outflows are processed with the same-day value date.
    • During working days and hours, you can deposit and withdraw funds from the account only through TEB branches. You can also perform EFT and money transfer transactions from your Fırsat Account through TEB branches.
      Cash deposit and withdrawal transactions can be made via TEB ATMs at any time except between 05:00 – 06:00. Money transfer transactions via TEB ATMs can be carried out during the hours when the transfer system is operational.
    • If the Fırsat Account balance exceeds the upper limit due to interest accrual or additional deposits, the entire amount exceeding the limit will automatically be transferred to the linked Demand Deposit Account by the system.

    Additional Interest Rate Structure and  Earnining Conditions

    • Additional interest is applied after the introductory campaign period, provided that the required conditions are met.
    • The balance of the Demand Deposit Account linked to the Fırsat Account will be checked daily at 22:00. If the balance is below the required minimum balance stated in the interest table, funds will be transferred from the Fırsat Account to the Demand Deposit Account to complete the required amount.

    The required minimum balances are:

    For FX Fırsat Accounts:

    • 2,000 USD / 2,000 EUR / 2,000 GBP / 10 grams of gold

    For TL Fırsat Accounts:

    • 1,000,000 – 1,999,999 TL: minimum 150,000 TL
    • 2,000,000 – 2,999,999 TL: minimum 200,000 TL
    • 3,000,000 – 3,999,999 TL: minimum 250,000 TL
    • 4,000,000 – 5,000,000 TL: minimum 250,000 TL
    • After the transfer is made, the Demand Deposit Account balance must not fall below the required minimum balance between 00:00 – 06:00, and the balance must remain in the account for one business day.
    • Additional interest will be paid on the first business day following this period.
