As of January 27, 2026, the upper limit for the Welcome Interest rate applied to TL Global Genç Accounts will be increased from 7,000,000 TL to 10,000,000 TL.

About EFTs/Money Order/ Fast made from Marifetli Account:

In order to benefit from the fee exemption for EFT / Money Order /Fast transactions made from the TL Global Genç Account as of 26.01.2025, the balance in your TL Global Genç Account must have earned interest income for a minimum of (10) business days in the last 6 months. After 16:00, FAST transactions will be charged.

With Global Genç Account, you can;

• get interest yield to your savings starting from TL/USD/EURO/GBP 100,
• benefit from a welcome interest of 30 days for the joint accounts with parents up to 5 accounts,
• apply for TEB Bank Card from the age of 12.*

• Global Genç Account is a sub-product of Marifetli Account and a saving account with the features of daily time deposit established for the age of 25 and under. For the customers of 26 and older, "Marifetli Account" can be opened. 
• The "Global Genç Account" product can be utilised only by the Individual Real customers of 25 and younger. 
• When the balance of a Marifetli account, interest earnings, or any addition to the balance exceeds the upper limit, the amount that exceeds the limit will be automatically transferred by the system to the linked Current Account. This rule does not apply to TEB Global Genç Accounts.
• With "Global Genç Account", you can withdraw money abroad with your TEB Bank Card over 50 countries *
• Only one Global Genç Account can be opened in each currency. However, at the openings of joint account it is possible to open at most five accounts from each currency, and the welcome interest will be given to each account which has a different partner.
• The customer can make the order of balance transfer from his/her current account to the Global Genç Account in the same currency while it is not possible to make savings by use of the credit card limit. 
• Global Genç Account is processed in 3 age groups of 12-15, 16-17 and 18-25. 
• The customers in the age group of 12-15: The daily withdrawal amount is TL / USD / EURO / GBP 100 at most for each currency. The withdrawal options are TL / USD / EURO / GBP 50 or 100. The daily amount of money deposit is unlimited. The transactions can be made through using the channel of ATM. In this age group, it is compulsory to open the joint account together with the parents or custodian and the customers in the age group of 12-15 as well can have a bank card in their name.
• The customers in the age group of 16-17: The transactions of money withdrawal/deposit are not subject to the limit. They can make transaction through using the ATM channel. They can make transaction in the value of  TL, USD, EUR, GBP 100 up to TL 500,000 (or the equivalent foreign currency). 
• The customers in the age group of 18-25: The transactions of money withdrawal/deposit are not subject to the limit. The transactions can be made via TEB Internet Branch, TEB ATMs and TEB Branches. They can have the account opened in their name and have the bank card in their name. They can make transaction in the value of  TL, USD, EUR, GBP 100 up to TL 500,000 (or the equivalent foreign currency). 
• At the time of opening a joint account, the age of joint customers is checked and if a customer, who has not passed a day from the age of 26, is one of the account holders, a Global Youth Account shall be opened.
• For the joint accounts in individual use, a bank card (debit card) can be issued for each account holder. Only for the joint accounts in individual use, the card allotment can be made for each cardholder.
• The account can be opened with zero balance. It is sufficient for the Global Genç Account to have a minimum balance of (TL / USD / EUR / GBP 100) to yield interest. The interest rate varies gradually on the basis of amount. It is not possible to make any change on the interest rates.
• The customers who completed the age of 25 and have a Global Genç Account shall be granted with the current interest of Marifetli Account.
• The interest of Global Youth Account will be daily accrued and the accrued interest will be added to the account on a daily basis.
• In case that the customer opens a joint Marifetli Account or a joint Global Genç Account, a 2nd Welcome Interest will not be given to the customer.  
• If the balance of a Marifetli account, its accrued interest, or any credit to the account exceeds the upper limit, the excess amount will be automatically transferred by the system to the linked Current Account. This rule does not apply to TEB Global Genç Accounts.
