How do I use Turkcell Mobile Signature?

  • When you are in a Turkcell Mobile Signature friendly environment, just click the SIGN button on the screen. Once you click that button, the information you need to sign on will be prepared and sent to your SIM card over your GSM operator for you to sign.
  • Once the signature demand reaches your SIM card, you will see the explanation regarding the transaction that needs your signature on your phone screen. Carefully read the explanation and press OK if you confirm the transaction.
  • If you want to make sure that the transaction you are signing using your SimPlus128 card is the same transaction you are seeing on your computer screen you can check it by comparing FINGERPRINT that is created instantly and that will be used only for this transaction on your computer and phone screens. If both FINGERPRINTS are the same press OK.
  • To finalize your transaction enter your Turkcell Mobile Signature pasword and click OK. If you enter a wrong password three consecutive times, your password will be blocked.
  • You have signed and returned the signature transaction on your SimPlus128 Card. You can continue with your transaction on you applications screen.


Can it be used abroad?

  • Yes. If your line is open for international use, you can also use your Turkcell Mobile Signature.
  • However, depending on the operator you are using abroad, you might have to pay SMS fees for the messages you send regarding signature use.

Why am I unable to carry our electronic signature transactions?

  • When you call Turkcell Customer Relations regarding this problem, you will be directed to perform a test signature transaction. For this transaction you will be asked to sign a signature demand that is for testing purposes and return it.
  • If test signature transaction fails:

                    - If there is a problem with your GSM membership, your Turkcell Mobile Signature will not operate. 
                    - If you do not have adequate credits, your service might have been temporarily suspended. 
                    - If your GSM operator is unable to send SMS, or if you are outside the GSM operating zone, you cannot perform electronic signature.

  • If test signature transaction is successful:
  •                     - If the application you are trying to sign electronically is not compatible with Turkcell Mobile Signature, you cannot perform electronic signature. 
                        - If the application you are trying to sign electronically is compatible with Turkcell Mobile Signature and you still cannot sign, the problem might be stemming from the firm that provides the application. In that case, please contact the firm.

I demanded signature but I did not receive an SMS.

  • When you call Turkcell Customer Relations regarding this problem, you will be directed to perform a test signature transaction. For this transaction you will be asked to sign a signature demand that is for testing purposes and return it.
  • If the test demand reaches your phone, this means the problem stems from the application. Please contact the firm that provides the application.

  • If the test demand does not reach your phone: 

                        - You might not be a member to Mobile Signature system or your membership might have expired. 
                        - Your Turkcell Mobile Signature membership and/or your Electronic Certificate might have been temporarily suspended due to delays in payment. 
                        - You might be using a different SIM card then the one you used for Mobile signature membership. 
                        - If none of the above applies, your problem will be communicated to related units and your system will be turned back to normal as soon as possible.

I entered my password but signature has not been confirmed.

When you call Turkcell Customer Relations regarding this problem, you will be directed to perform a test signature transaction. For this transaction you will be asked to sign a signature demand that is for testing purposes and return it.
If the test signature works after you enter your password, this means the problem stems from the application. Please contact the firm that provides the application.
If the test signature does not work after you enter your password: Check if you have entered your Turkcell Mobile Signature password correctly. If the problem persists please contact Turkcell Customer Relations.


The explanation sent to me and the explanation of the transaction I want to sign are different.

If the explanation sent to you is different from the explanation of the transaction, do not perform electronic signature. Turn off the application and try again after a while. Make sure that you wait enough for the signature demand to reach you after you click the Sign button. If you halted the signature transaction before it was completed, click the "No" button on the phone for the same transaction and do not enter your password.

If the problem persists, note down the explanation sent to you and inform Turkcell Customer Relations and/or TEB Phone Branch.


The fingerprint sent to me and the fingerprint on the screen are different.

If the fingerprint sent to you and the fingerprint on the screen do not match, do not enter your password and do not sign the transaction. Turn off the application and try again after a while. Make sure that you wait enough for the signature demand to reach you after you click the Sign button and that the application address is correct.

If the problem persists, note down the application address and inform Turkcell Customer Relations and/or TEB Phone Branch. 

Although I have not tried to make a transaction I am receiving signature demands.

Do not sign the demands. Read the explanation sent to you, and determine the application sent to you.
Renew your password. Someone might have hacked your password and might be sending you wrong applications.
Contact the application provider and inform them.
Check the security software of your computer.

Can I sign more than one transaction at a time?

Signing transactions are queued up on your SIM card. We suggest you to make these transactions one by one.
However, you can proceed with multiple transactions simultaneously and sign the transactions one by one.
This way, you can check the explanations on the screen, make sure the fingerprints are the same, and you will be aware of which transactions you are signing.

How much time do I have to confirm the signature?

You have to make your confirmation within the time limit determined by the firm that provides the application. Generally, this will be between 60 and 70 seconds. 


Can I postpone the signing if my phone runs out of battery or my GSM operator does not work during the process?

 
If the connection cannot be set up with the Turkcell network, the demand of signature will be cancelled.
